Position Description:
In this position, you will be responsible for building new prototype systems for ArrowSlate’s machine learning and artificial intelligence research projects. You will be working with a small team during the development of cutting edge technology in wireless sensing and communications. This position is in White Plains, NY with options for remote work. Candidates must be able to work on site as needed. This position is expected to be a 6-12 month temporary position transitioning to full-time employee with flexible hours.
You will be:
- Experimenting with the latest ML/AI models and algorithms
- Writing code for proof-of-concept experiments and prototypes
- Writing research proposals within the scope of ML/AI signal processing for new and follow-on awards
- Supporting the embedded software development of hardware based sensing platforms
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or Ph.D. heavily preferred) in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 2 years experience in professional AI/ML development for signal processing or remote sensing
- 2 years experience programming in C/C++ or Python for AI/ML applications
- Experience with ML/AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc)
- Experience with embedded software programming
- Experience in real-time digital signal processing
- Experience with radar, sonar, or other wireless sensing
- Must be able to communicate effectively through various means including Telephone, MS Teams, Zoom, video conferencing, etc
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance and be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
Desirable Qualifications:
- Master’s or Ph.D in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with Xilinx Versal ACAP AI-Core architecture is a huge plus
- Experience with Verilog or System Verilog
- Knowledge of RF and Millimeter wave theory and technology design challenges
- Understanding of digital logic including Microcontroller and FPGA design
- Familiarity with standard communication protocols (PCIe, 1/10/100 Gigabit Ethernet, USB, I2C, SPI, etc)

You will be working with a small team during the development of cutting edge technology in wireless sensing and communications. This position is in White Plains, NY with options for remote work. This position is expected to be a 6-12 month contract position with flexible hours.
You will be:
- Documenting and communicating UI/UX and visual design of projects to clients and collaborators using wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, test dashboards and/or visualizations
- Developing GUI’s for both technical and non-technical customers
- Providing design mocks for research proposals
- Supporting the UI/UX design for Arrow Slate’s platforms
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
6+ years hands-on front-end / UI experience developing scalable, customer facing software applications and web applications - UI/UX design preferably including technical products for both technical and non-technical users
- Experience programming in C#, Java, Python, C++ (QT)
- Must be able to communicate effectively through various means including Telephone, MS Teams, Zoom, video conferencing, etc
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance and be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
